What inspired your design for Cadbury Dairy Milk?
I wanted to find the simplest way to identify Ireland by the most popular symbols: a leprechaun and a four-leaf clover. These are symbols of luck and richness connected to the sweet pleasure of the taste of the milk chocolate.

What other design or illustration work have you done before?
Some time ago I designed illustrations for kids’ books. Now, if I find the time and space, I paint oil pictures, portraits, landscapes, and also I craft sculptures from wood.

What would you do if you won the €10,000 prize?
I think I would finish building my studio to get my own space for artistic work, and maybe organise some painting lessons for kids and adults from the local community, or maybe organise gallery exhibitions to present myself and my paintings.

What do think makes your wrapper design extra special?
It evokes the richness and sweet pleasure of Cadbury Dairy Milk – a message that’s easy to understand for everyone.
